Surreal sights
It’s not in every movie that you see a fully nude man sweeping the exterior walkway with a leaf blower. Or a new tenant who believes clothes are strictly optional. Or a prospective home seller whose house tour is also a tour of her bare flesh. Or a nudist gardener who is also an apostle for going au naturel. My Neighbor Is A Nudist makes the most of these surreal scenarios while also giving them the faintest whiff of neighborhood plausibility. What would you do if you glanced out the window only to see an incredibly hot neighbor in the buff, strutting around without a care in the world? In a Devil’s Film world, everyone acts on the most basic carnal impulses, even after a token effort to pay deference to society’s stifling rules. “We’re just all naked. It’s a natural condition,” muses one character.
Artistic, erotic compositions
There’s also an interesting recurring visual of intimate anatomy, shot from the side and a slight upward angle, with a gawking face staring at the sight from the other side of the frame. It puts the viewer in the shoes of the primary characters, who can’t help but gape when confronted with such unabashed nudity. Though achieved by different means, the technique is reminiscent of split-screen diopter shots in classic cinema, which foregrounded two elements in a single frame without losing focus on either.
Equal weight
When it comes to nudism, Devil’s Film is an equal opportunity employer. Each scene has a familiar formula: a startled citizen comes upon a nudist strutting about in a semi-public corner of the neighborhood. Happily, the movie does not limit the nudist side of the case to one gender or another. In scenes one and four, it’s the male half of the cast (Clarke Kent and Charles Dera) that embraces nudism. In scene two and three, it’s the female half (Adira Allure and Lilly Bell). Devil’s Film plays with the visual and comedic possibilities of both scenarios to maximum effect.
Adira squeezing out every last drop
Adira Allure welcomes realtor Danny Mountain into her home, hoping for his help in selling the property so she can start a nudist colony. He’s concerned that her prejudice against clothes might scare away potential buyers. After all, they will be consumed with sexual thoughts as soon as they glimpse Adira. Danny admits that’s certainly been his own reaction, which prompts Adira to invite him to act on his impulses. The scene climaxes with Danny’s heavy cumshot all over Adira’s belly. She grabs hold of his shaft and squeezes out every last drop, mirroring her character’s passion for wringing pleasure out of every situation.
Amazin’ and unshaven
A nudist theme alters the typical porn formula in interesting ways. In conventional porn, a scene opens with an elaborate fetishized striptease. We watch as the leading lady reveals her body bit by bit, amping the anticipation for the hardcore action to come. When the star is playing a nudist, the striptease aspect is removed completely. The audience sees the principal performer in all her glory from the moment she enters the scene. It creates an instant sense of shock, but it also gives the viewer more time to absorb the specific bodily beauty of each actor. In keeping with the naturalist theme of the movie as a whole, the four woman performers display unshaven or partially unshaven bushes. Thanks to the nudist aspect, you’ll have plenty of time to savor the sight of these epic pornstar bods.
