Black Widow goes XXX
Porn’s master of comic book parodies is back! Any superhero effort from director Axel Braun is always hotly anticipated, and Black Widow XXX is no exception. The Black Widow character is a Russian spy turned agent of the heroic S.H.I.E.L.D. In the mainstream Marvel Cinematic Universe, she’s been memorably embodied by Scarlett Johansson, whose performances built to this summer’s blockbuster standalone Black Widow. Riding on the momentum of superhero smashes like Batman V. Superman XXX, esteemed director Braun now turns his attention to Black Widow!
Budgetary ingenuity
It’s a miracle of clever filmmaking that director Braun is able to wring so much style out his presumably modest budget. By using creative lighting schemes, he’s able to create a sense of mood and place with a few simple cues. The over-the-top, theatrical acting of the leading actors leads perfectly into equally flamboyant sex. This is pure cinematic fun, just as surely as the mainstream franchise is, but with a much more erotic edge. If you’ve ever found yourself fantasizing about the curvy, perhaps even kinky Black Widow, this parody is the place to go!
Scene one’s dramatic confrontation
The situation is dire. Natasha/Black Widow (Lacy Lennon) has been captured by a fiendish villain (Mick Blue), who is bent on making her reveal what she knows about his scheme. Tied to a chair and seemingly helpless, Natasha seems bereft of any hope for escape. Like its mainstream inspiration, the scene retains a knowing sense of humor throughout. (There’s even a fun jibe at an apparent error on Marvel’s part regarding the proper spelling of Russian names.) It’s delightfully enjoyable to see Blue in a hammy villain role, too! His distinct accent, often used to charming effect in his non-character roles, is spun out in a sinister way here. Lennon’s considerable sexual charisma melds nicely with the hapless comedic persona she projects in the scene’s early going. Before long, however, she will use her unique physical gifts to turn the tables on her captors . . .
The appearance by Casey Kisses in scene two
Now free to run wild with the Black Widow character, Lacy Lennon is having a rip-roaring good time in scene two. She even finds herself whisked away in a sleek sports car at one point. Slick wheels and tight leather are just window dressing, though, for the main event, a hookup with Casey Kisses. Complete with a forbidding Russian accent, Kisses is an intimidatingly perfect match for Black Widow! (The scene even echoes a similarly spectacular trans scene in Braun’s Captain Marvel XXX.)
Lacy Lennon’s performance
To say Lacy Lennon suits the Black Widow role is an understatement akin to remarking that the Marvel Universe is somewhat wide in scope. Axel Braun put it best in his interview with GameLink sibling site Adult Empire: “There was never really any other choice for me but Lacy Lennon [for the role of Black Widow]. I had worked with her before on Captain Marvel XXX and she had impressed me…and yet that was nothing compared to what she brought to the plate for Black Widow XXX. Her sexual performances are off the charts as you would expect, but it’s her acting that’s beyond amazing. Literally Best Actress material. She blew everybody away with how prepared, committed, and focused she was, and with her deep understanding of the character, and the huge success of the movie is a direct consequence of her presence in it.”
