Were you wondering about who the hottest performers in adult were? Did you wake up today and think “If only there were an objective measure by which I could judge who the best porn stars are and where to find their best work?” Yeah, I thought so. Me too, buddy, me too. Fortunately, there’s help for us in our quest for knowledge – the AVN Awards are our regular yearly guide to the benchmarks for pulchritude. Look upon the winners and drool.
1. Jill Kassiy
Best New Starlet Brand new sensation Jill Kassidy, a slinky brunette from Dallas, is the newly minted AVN Best New Starlet; her duties as the ambassador of sexiness for the year include looking good under a facial, making out with girls, pouting and saying “Please, Daddy,” and getting railed in every position. The sleek 34B-28-34 Aquarian is off to a grand start in the porn industry – pay attention to her and make her feel even more welcome.
2. Angela White
Female Performer of the Year We all know about Angela White, right? Transsexual Performer of the Year Aubrey Kate shouldn’t be a huge surprise as TS Performer of the Year, given that she was last year’s winner, and nominated the year before that. 5’10” tall and measuring 34C-26-34 in two dimensions and six inches in a third, Aubrey is a fan favorite in trans-fan circles (a set of circles that is getting bigger and bigger by the year). Sweet-faced, hard-cocked and up for anything, the pretty blonde is a great ambassador for a genre that’s no longer a niche.
4. Jasmine Jae
Female Foreign Performer of the Year If you don’t know who Jasmine Jae is, you haven’t been listening – with her sharp Brummie accent and knack for sounding like exactly the kind of girl who would wind up in porn, Jasmine would be the hands-down winner of the award for Porn Star Who’s Instantly Recognizable Even if You Can’t See Her, if there were such an award (there isn’t), Still, not seeing her is vastly inferior to seeing her, since the statuesque 37E-27-37 brunette looks so very good indeed.
5. Cherie DeVille
MILF Performer of the Year It’s about fucking time: having been nominated every year since 2014 (and not just by AVN – XBIZ and XRCO have been teasing for years as well), the delicious Cherie DeVille has finally taken home some hardware on award night. The 2018 MILF Performer of the year has been in more than 500 movies (and been a delight in every single one). Whether she’s backing a reluctant stepson into a corner, fending off a horny stepdaughter, seducing a handyman, or just getting wet and slippery with the other housewives in the neighborhood, this sleek 32DD-24-36 blonde really deserves the award.
6. Jenna Sativa
All-Girl Performer of the Year It would be beneath me to make pot jokes about Jenna Sativa’s name – partly because easy puns are the devil’s handmaiden, but mostly because I don’t know a lot about pot and would certainly make bad ones – so let it be enough to say here that the 34C-24-37 Jenna is smoking hot, and every inch of her trophy is well-deserved.
7. Asa Akira
Mainstream Star of the Year Asa Akira has been getting nominated for this award since 2015, after a string of nominations and one win in the Female Performer of the Year category, and she’s finally won it, which basically means that we in the porn industry have judged that she is the porn star that people who aren’t in the porn industry have probably heard of, although by that measure, Jenna Jameson is still the front-runner, with Stormy Daniels running a close second. One of Asa’s most notable appearances in the Mainstream in 2017 was in a live-action segment of “The Family Guy”, and she also probably showed up in Donald Trump’s fantasies.
8. cCybill Troy
Niche Performer of the Year I don’t know a lot about Cybill Troy, but then not many people do, which is exactly why she’s the Niche Performer of the Year. The niche in question is BDSM, which means that Cybill is the most notable performer in the most notable of the least noted categories in porn. If that’s confusing, just remember that there’s going to be a quiz later, and if you preform poorly ont he quiz, Cybill is going to BDSM the shit out of you (Note: There will be no quiz; the previous statement is not guarantee of Cybill Troy BDSMing the shit out of you, and Gamelink is not responsible for Cybill Troy not BDSMing the shit out of you).
