Gangbang Me
AJ Applegate and Adriana Chechik are gangbangable as hell.
If you’re ever out at the theatre (and I know you divide your leisure time evenly between watching porn, attending local theatre, and learning the french horn) and have seen an actor place a glass of water precariously on a table while conversing with another actor, you know that you can’t think of anything other than that glass falling off the edge. It ruins the scene. This is exactly what it’s like for me when I watch porn featuring people who don’t seem quite up to the task.
But to watch the petite but resilient (Applegate) and fierce (Chechik) in the the two scenes on Hard X’s GangBang Me, the viewer is filled with the reassurance that everyone who got gangbanged that day really dug it.
This has as much to do with the director Mason as it does her two stars, as well as the eight gentlemen selected by Chechik and Applegate for the blessed event (Erik Everhard and Mick Blue appear in both scenes, shot a month apart).
Mason has been getting filthy women to do filthy things for more than a decade. She is never seen on camera intentionally (unless she is disguised, and even then, not for years) but her voice asking thoughtful questions offscreen is amiable. Everyone seems relaxed.
Applegate’s scene starts out with the juicy blonde doing her strip club number in a brick loft. There’s nothing superhuman about it, or even dirty. Instead Applegate looks like the Girl Next Door you, as the older brother of her best friend, watched growing up and aren’t too surprised to see her grinding for tips at Mynx’s in Hartford (the cabaret where Applegate works when she’s home). At the heart of her performance, Applegate is accessible.And she’s healthy. Small breasts (for porn), big butt (for porn), stripper’s legs. Applegate told us in an interview that she doesn’t shy away from a fatty meal but she is a regular weightlifter. In short, her body looks super gangbang absorbent.

Once she dances off the screen, we cut to the next scene where she is surrounded by six fellows. It’s harmless background chatter and Applegate pays the words no mind. What she’s doing instead is handling it. It’s a good scene.

And Chechik, with five partners instead of six, at first sounds a little more porny than Applegate; we sense that she is performing. And that might be my own thing. Why shouldn’t she perform? Iggy Azalea performs. Barry Manilow performs but then we watch Chechik really start to get into it and it seems like something has shifted from self motivation to genuine enjoyment.Prior to the scene, she says there is something she is hoping will happen. ‘I’m not going to say what it is, but I’m egging them on.’
