Step-relatives are a popular option these days for the horny citizen who wants the comfort of a relationship with someone he or she already knows but doesn’t want the hassle of being accused of a sin of depravity or an actual crime, depending on local ordinances. Parents and children by marriage are the perfect solution, being as they always are amazingly hot and also inclined to hanky-panky if you just come at them from the correct angle.
India Scene 1 India Summer and Van Wylde
Summer is making her stepson work his ass off in the yard; although she really just likes masturbating while she watches him sweat, her excuse is that he has to earn his keep somehow, to which he quite reasonably replies that he doesn’t why should he She doesn’t really have a good response to that, so she just smacks his smug, spoiled face, and if there’s one thing we’ve all learned from the movies, it’s that if a woman smacks your face, she wants to fuck you. It’s not long before they’re working out their differences up against the counter in the kitchen. He’s very considerate, and this turns quickly from an angry grudge fuck to a soft-focus Penthouse Forum tryst, but the energy is undeniable. Things India Summer is really good at: ball-sucking, 69.
Scene 2 Penelope Stone and Steven St. CroixPenelope Stone is getting married in three months, and her stepfather is worried that he doesn’t have the talent to perform the traditional father-daughter-dance, but she has other concerns mainly, that her relationship will cool as time goes by. They have a discussion about heat and passion and the longevity of relationships, and she confesses that there is one guy she?s been lusting after for a long time. It’s him! And he says dutifully as they get closer and closer that they shouldn’t be doing what they?re doing, but his heart isn’t really in it, and they go on ahead and use the living room as a bedroom instead of a dance studio. Things Penelope Stone is really good at: making out, cowgirl.
Scene 3 Jessa Rhodes and Tyler Nixon
Jessa Rhodes always thought her older stepbrother was a straitlaced goody-two-shoes, but then she finds him sniffing her panties while he does the laundry and then stealing some for later. She finds, oddly, that it turns her on too enough that she has to go and do some masturbating, but when she tells him about that, he fears a trap. Anyone with a sister will understand his reluctance to trust her, but when she strips down and puts her panties in his face, he has no choice but to believe. Once he’s confronted with irrefutable evidence that his hot little sister is gunning for him, he jumps right in and they do what teenagers will do if you give them half a chance. Things Jessa Rhodes is really good at: seducing a guy with her panties, cowgirl.
Scene 4 Brenda James and Logan Pierce
Brenda James is just discovering her sexuality after a long drought; selling sex toys at housewife parties seems appealing, but she can?t sell them until she tries them out, and her stepson is very willing to help her figure out how they work. She is skeptical at first, but she has been without for a while, and she is just as eager as he is enough so that after the first flush of resistance, she is the one pushing the pace, and Logan Pierce may end up feeling like he has a tiger by the tail. This is my favorite scene of the four Brenda James gives a convincing performance as a woman learning about toys and sex, and I like the way she talks. She has a happy, matter-of-fact joie de vivre that makes me want to see more of her. Things Brenda James is good at: everything, but pillow talk especially.
Family Business manages to add a touch of class, or at least sophistication, to the business of fucking one’s relatives. You don?t see that every day. Part of the effect is achieved by hiring actors who can act at least a little bit, but the movie’s greatest strength is in its pacing each scene is allowed to develop some, without the kind of rushed frenzy that characterizes a lot of vignette movies these days. India Summer has a smoldering bitchiness that appeals, and Brenda James in particular is enjoyable as a newly awoken libertine with no guilt holding her back. Family Business strikes a careful balance between dirty and romantic, and that is a thing to be savored.
